Overview

Gneiss is a common and widely distributed type of metamorphic rock. Gneiss is formed by high temperature and high-pressure metamorphic processes acting on formations composed of igneous or sedimentary rocks. It has a high degree of durability because it is a foliated metamorphic rock. Material is used for stone cladding and flooring, also for decoration of different spaces.
